Migration Disconnect

I have a project with 65 objects and every time I try Migrate, I am disconnected and logged off the Phire application.

    Thank you for contacting us in Support to work through this issue. As we noted in our conversation, the standard PeopleTools timeout settings in the psappsrv and web profile for the environment control how long the process can run interactively. So adjusting those according to your needs is can be done on-site.

    Also starting in v14.1 (Jan 2019) Phire contains the option of submitting long-running processes to the process scheduler, eliminating interactive timeout issues.

    Generally speaking, performance on migrating 65 objects should be a matter of seconds, not minutes. But the landscape of your enterprise network can have a significant impact on this, and in the absence of a hard error the process is likely encountering a network bottleneck somewhere. Also if the migration requires a project build or script execution they can inflate the execution time regardless of the number of objects, depending on what tables and views are affected.
